Boarding

While proceeding through the boarding gate and into the jetway, there are still many tasks being accomplished. Not only on your aircraft, but behind the scenes as well. This multi-tasking is a necessary part to ensure an on time flight departure. However, sometimes certain actions must be done sequentially. For example, there might be a maintenance action required in the cabin that prevents the aircraft cleaners from finishing their job. Obviously, then there would be some delay incurred in because maintenance would have to finish, then the cleaners.
